Maintaining at this level. Didn't get to do as much house work as i wanted. Should do more today.

Ok, so i have hit another plateau...however, at the very least I am not going up in weight and the plateau is occurring at the lowest weight I have been in this current diet. So with that said, here are a few of my thoughts from today:

1) Housework - I usually despise housework. I hate having to clean or tend to a leaky faucet or laying tile. I work ALL week only to come back for more work at home? However, I think I have found a good spin on housework...housework is the new workout. I find that I get a rigorous workout when I have extensive housework to do. Today, we laid down vinyl floor tiles in the basement. I sweated a ton and did a lot of work. That has got to help me in seeking to lose weight. Additionally, I installed some under the cabinet lights to light up the kitchen area. Now in times past I would grab a snack while doing that hard work. I would probably munch on chips, cookies or some other treat. This time I didn't grab a thing. Instead I just drank water. In fact, I was so busy I blew right past lunch. I had a nice dinner but it was amazing to stand back see what I accomplished today.

2) Words can hurt - While today was good on a physical side, they were not that good on the emotional side. All I will say is the following : Think about the words you use and say BEFORE you say them. I won't repeat what was said but I was wounded today. Let's leave it at that.

3) Drive - As I looked in the mirror today, I realized that I have accomplished a lot since I started my diet. I feel much better, I have more energy and I have a ton more confidence. I think all you need is the drive to succeed. Sometimes it may get tough, but honestly, all you need to do is set up achievable goals and seek them. The only one who can make things better for yourself is YOU.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to hurt you...you are so kind and sweet and I hope you know that you have a friend who doesn't like to see that happen, not one bit...

Thank you. Its just a cycle. Something is said without thought, a resentment builds within me, I bite my tongue because I don't want to retaliate in kind. Its over now but I hate when that happens. Ruins my mojo...
