I'm happy with that :) (Although when we move back from our summer house I mustn't forget that the digital scales are more accurate and also 'weigh heavier' than the ones I'm using here, so I'll be looking at a 'gain' of 1.5 to 2 kilos - that's still OK, I mustn't forget it!)

Almost back into the eating routine of term time - although there are still two weeks before the kids start school, we teachers are back and getting ourselves prepared. I'm having my usual breakfast and taking a sandwich or a piece of fruit with me for lunch - I ate in the school canteen two days and that was enough to remind me why I stopped eating there! That kind of cooked meal is way too heavy for me at lunchtime (or any time really)and in any case the oil or fat they use gives me burning indigestion by mid-afternoon. My packed lunch is light but satisfying - I certainly don't skimp as there's no way I could succeed if I felt starving!
