For some reason Fatsecret lost my post from yesterday and seems to not be synching with my mobile. Going good though, have to make a decision on whether I increase cardio and exercise to enable me to reach my weight goal sooner by end of Sep18 or keep on watching the diet. I reckon I might do a mix of the two. I am actually happy I hurt my knee 1 month into weight-loss. It forced me to really focus on diet and sustainability as I could not do Cardio for at least 5 months. So I now have the knowledge of how to control weight when I am not so active.

have you considered weight training, is hands down better then cardio for weight loss for many reasons. weight training burns Cal's for hours after you stop where cardio stops the second you do. weight training increases lean muscle so you burn more cals doin day to day stuff. a mix of cardio and weight training is even better again. if you have access to a rowing machine, they are king of the cardio world in my opinion

you have to be smart with weight training, especially early on. give each muscle group time to repair before tearing them down again. cardio can be fun, bench hops skipping box jumps... I avoid treadmills like the plague hahaha alot better exercises out their then running on the spot

You are right, Early on I could only do weight training because of my knee and I lost a lot of weight. Also my body is looking good because of it. I am now talking about increasing cardio for cardiovascular health also I was getting tired on leg day during squats which I hate but have become a necessary evil.

Forgot to say, because of my knee I had to get a specialist Strength PT and movements coach. I found the best and most highly recommended coach and also interviewed him. His partner holds the All-time world record squat 667.5Kg at 66.7kg body weight https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=162370561&pagenumber=1. I then spent a few months having 1 hr leg sessions weekly. Best money I have spent for sure zero surgery needed knee is now excellent. Basically my movements were totally wrong and I had no clue what I was doing even though I thought I was in the know.

I see alot of poor form in gyms. Some people are open to advice some not so much. I get asked alot now how to do this or how to do that. What I do on shoulder day what I do on chest day, what groups to train together all that kind of stuff and it's humbling. If being a PT paid half as much as my current role I would jump at the chance but I couldn't afford to do it. I get alot if love from all the PTs at the various gyms i frequent. Most have seen the hard work IV put in over the last period of time.

You are right it is all about learning and being open to advice. I have spent days on research and I am still going.

It's the open to advice early on that will yeild better results. There's nothing thats not worth listening to. You don't have to take it all on board or put it into action but listening costs nothing but time.
