I carbed up yesterday. It was a month ago that I did that and dropped 6 lbs. Gained back 2 but I am thinking that maybe my body becomes a little resistant to weight loss after a month. My keto stix were deep purple and the scale moved up and was hardly moving down for a week. It is worth a shot. We will see.

but you have had major changes to body size, which is a good thing. this is just water weight, if you are still in your calorie range. mine is thinking about coming down now, after 2 days. for me it depends on what kind of carbs I ate to how long I hold the water

I am going to get back on the horse today. I was holding on to that water weight for a week. Needed to try something. A lot of other diets suggest resets. I also think it is good to reward ourselves. Strange thing is, I really was not thrilled with the carby food. Pasta is over rated. Next time I will plan it better.

yep pasta is a problem for me too. I don't think there is anything wrong with a reset don't get me wrong. I just meant not to worry about the weight in the short term. It will all go away. I did this myself. and if I could I would probably try a fast when I feel a little more myself. I wanted to try this time but just don't feel my body is up for it.

I might try IF on Monday. I really would like to get under 135 in the next 2 weeks. Before my trip to NY. Seeing some people I have not seen since I weighed 120. :/

what ever works for you. I liked the IF fasting but it curbed my appetite too much. which is not a bad thing in the short term, but long term when I was already too low, was not good. after your refeed you are in a better place to try it.

That is what I am afraid of. I do not want my body to adjust to too little calories.

I was already really low and needless to say my head was foggy all the time so I was not paying attention. If I wasn't going through this immune disfunction right now, I would have done a short fast after my break. I just don't want to upset the apple cart until things settle some.

Deep deep purple means you need water too. Hope it works!
