I have completed 3 weeks of the "8 Week Blood Sugar Diet"! I wasn't sure I could stick it out but one day at a time mentality kept me going. Weight loss slowed a lot, which is to be expected. My total loss for the 3-week period is 11 pounds and 3.75 inches in my waist. I feel good, clothes fit better, and still haven't exercised regularly so have not enjoyed that boost. We have had unhealthy air from the forest fires in California and Nevada so walking has been out of the question. This morning the air is safe so I'd better get out there before the wind brings in more smoke, and before it heats up. For this week I'm going to up the calories to 900/day.
