I saw the doctor today. She was happy with my progress. It turns out that in the last two weeks I have gained 5 pounds of muscle and lost 8 pounds of fat. All that hiking is definitely paying off. Of course, the scale hasn't moved that much, but my clothes tell a different story. So I am just going to keep plugging along.
