Alright guys? I found this awesome programme on my smartphone and signed right up. Alittle about me... 7 years ago I was in the best form of my life. I was six foot three inches tall and weighted 240lbs with a BMI of %13.5. I was in the army and sent to Iraq with the First Cav, while I was there I had my best ever weight loss, I went from 240lbs to around 155lbs... in a month and a half.
Turned out due to an incident sustaned in Iraq I found out I became a type 1 diabetic. This I dealt with fairly well but the weight loss had been muscle loss as high sugar levels drained the insulin from my muscles to keep me alive. But With injections I was able to deal with this. I went back to my workouts but had a massive hypoglycemic attack (low blood sugar) that saw me pass out on a run.
Well, that scared me and sadly I stopped working out, my weight sky rocketed as I continued to eat like I was weight lifting every day and my weight went to 265lbs (FAT this time, not muscle) before I finally stopped being stupid and started woking out again. at the start of the year I was 265lbs and now I am 246lbs and still losing. The calorie counting software is the biggest help ever. It makes it easier for me to track carb intake so I can manage my sugar levels and the calorie counter helps me manage my weight. It's so good I have recommended it to my diabetic nurse and my doctor so they can pass it to other people.
Now I am starting my second round of TeamBeachBody Insanity, the home workout programme that allowed me to lose 20lbs in two months. Not selling this or anything but it's definately well worth looking into if you get a chance.
