I AM GOING HOME!
well for two days and if the plane shows up. It’s 15 min late. Not too nervous yet but….

Can’t make this shit up! So the plan was tonight to go austin Atlanta hartford then Richmond tomorrow. Storms hit. First flight delayed past connection. So I changed to austin Atlanta Richmond. That gave me two more hours of delay that would still be ok.
Well of course that gets delayed so I can get to Atlanta and get stuck. I can Uber to a room and try tomorrow. Maybe go to Atlanta and drive 8 hours to Richmond. I do think tonight is going to be my first restaurant meal this year!

Headed home. Landing around midnight. Leave Monday at 5am. In between I have to get the house in order. Shop. Run errands together.
Get my month end done (yes it is not really month end but didn’t complete April), do a project for Phoenix that I forgot about, prepare for my monthly inventory presentation ( monthly but haven’t done it yet this year), compile vendor issues for Monday vendor compliance meeting, analyze Richmond’s inventory so when I go next week I can fix what no one else has been able to fix. We have too many meetings with too much talking without anyone just making decisions. I have to move a branch starting June 10th and I should probably put some time into planning it out?
Exercise? Yeah right. Damn good thing I lost weight before it all exploded :-)
Ok rambling done. I can get some work done before we land

Warning a bit of a self pitying rant follows
A few things to make perfectly clear is that I am blessed in many ways. I love my wife and she loves me completely and I accept her for who she is. I love my job. Financially we are at least comfortable. I recently was promoted from manager to director and received and annual award. I am reasonably healthy.
BUT
I am barely holding on. Too many spinning plates. My wife can not take care of herself. She just might be the worst homemaker ever. She can not leave the house without me. Thank god for delivery services at least. But that’s who she is. I signed up for this. But I slept 3 hours and now will spend 5 hours getting the kitchen clean. The garbage dumped. Floors cleaned.

Another Friday another flight home. At least it’s in the right direction! Made it to may without eating out yet this year
