Grrrrrr. I ran out of data on my phone, without which my calorie tracker doesn't work. And without my tracker, I forget to track everything. Dang it dang it dang it.
So, I've got to get into the habit of writing everything down. If I missed one day, that's all right. But today I've got to write it down. Got to got to got to.

Zumba is way more intense than I expected. But, I loved it! My instructor, Andrea, is just plain awesome. The dancing is super fun, and I even enjoyed laughing at myself when I screwed up. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful thing.

Measuring day #1:
Weight- 213
Waist- 39
Hips- 48
Bust- 42
Underbust- 38
Upper arm- 15
Thigh- 26 (hello, thunderthighs!)
Waist to Hip Ratio- 0.8125 (only a little on the unhealthy side, but it's going to go down, yes)
So this is where I'm starting from. I've got a long way to go, but by golly, I can do it. I hope.

Today, I gave myself a "gimme". A day free of tracking, exercise, or worry about this journey. I know myself too well, and I'll burn out if I don't take a break now and again. And, I think I've earned it.
Also, I'm headed to my first Zumba class on Tuesday. It just looks like so much fun, and I think I'm going to like it. I don't care if I look like a dork, I just want to have fun and get rid of this weight! Heck, I even went and bought an outfit of yoga pants and a plain tee shirt to wear specifically to class. (I figured jeans weren't a good choice for latin dancing, and well, the shirt was on sale. Go Big Evil!) I'm stoked, and now all I need is for Tuesday to get here.
I'm also planning on checking out the gym where the class is held. I think they're having membership specials, and I'd like to have access to more than a Jillian Michaels DVD and a treadmill (both of which I don't have access to in my own home).
Now, just to work my way to Friday and my next weight check. I'm fighting the urge to check daily, seriously. I know that daily is a bad idea, but I just can't help it! Luckily, I haven't stepped on the scale since Thursday, but you have no idea how hard it is! Well, maybe you do.
