Walked up to Greenside mine from Glenridding today. Im definitely getting fitter so all the cycling has paid off. I did my dissertation up there and I love it but thanks to 7 years of joint surgery, including 2 hip replacements, I havent been there for years. It was quite an achievement being able to hike up there again without too much effort. I was rather shaky by the time we got back to the village and i was very grateful for my pecans.

So frustrating! After a week of 800 calories my weight has already plateaued at 77.1kg. Im coping really well with the restricted calories but the lack of results is really disheartening. Im only really supposed to stick to 800 calories for 2 weeks but I havent had any results by next Friday I'll have to continue a bit longer before changing to 5/2 fasting. Losing my thyroid was such a pain in the arse.

On to day 3 of my crazy Fast 800 diet. Im actually doing ok even though I've cut my calories by over a half. The worst bit is being cold all the time but Im not especially hungry thanks to all the protein. Ive never eaten so many eggs! Ive lost 1.8kg since day 1 so that is helping my motivation.
