Blood sugar 103, weight 170 was 172 a week ago.
This week extreme sleepiness finally easing. Was it a lingering effect of light case of Covid (no fever or coughing) I had six weeks ago?
Eating high protein and low carb as well as very lightly at night eases need for Famotidine. A good side effect is that I am slowly losing weight from moderation alone.

weight is up to 168 this morning but worse, blood sugar 175. Not sure what I ate that I should not have, but maybe three small starch and sugar snacks at end of day did it. Three small adds up to probably 1 whole bear claw of whatever.
Again I have nausea after a cup of coffee and one slice of bacon along with breakfast. Took pill (generic zantac)and drank water. Sleepy. Was too alert all night, high blood sugar? Hands hurt. Surely the advice to keep blood sugar down to keep arthritic pain down points at why. Blood sugar at 11:30, 3 hours after breakfast 147.

March 21 Weight 165.4. Lost about 4 lbs in six days. Staying on diet makes dramatic difference

March 19 wt 166.0 and blood sugar 109. Pain in muscles and joints easing up, still very sleepy even in morning but I think getting back on my diet and lowering my blood sugar is helping me to shift this virus or whatever, low-level as it is, that has been troubling me. weight down a full 4 lbs just by eating better and it's onlyi four days. Obviously it's not "real" weight loss but whether it's water or fat, it was an impediment. s

weight still 166 but sticking to it. Persistence, record keeping, honesty will achieve the goal of weight loss.
