I did my first Commando Warrior race on Saturday and flip it was hard🤦♀️🤣
But I'm so chuffed that I completed the whole race and cannot wait till the next one, sometimes it's important to focus on the fun things along the journey instead of putting so much energy towards what the number on the scale is doing.

I've been feeling quite despondent that I've been struggling to lose weight these last couple of weeks and then I decided to look for an old photo of myself to compare my progress.
The photo on the left was taken last year March & the photo on the right was taken last weekend... not yet where I want to be & yes it's taken me 18 months to lose 35 kgs, but I'm still proud of how far I've come😊

Way too many birthday treats and celebratory drinks 🤣 but you know what, I don't regret any of it, now we just get back on track 😊

Has anyone here ever done a Warrior race? I've entered into one happening in October with some friends and I'm looking for any tips regarding training that could help me not totally embarrass myself on the day of 🤣 (I have been doing a combo of strength training and cardio over the last few weeks, but seriously any advice is welcome!!)
