Wow, it has been a while. I am so disappointed in where I let myself go. I have been trying to get back on track for 2 1/2 years, but I just never felt it in my heart. I knew in my head I needed it, but my heart wasnt in it. I am back now, though, and better than ever! I am picking myself up by my boot straps and getting back on this horse!
Today begins my 24 hour fast, I have had nothing but water and 3 Ballerinas tea all day. Tomorrow at 6pm, I will break that fast with Blue Cheese Butter Burgers and Parmesan crusted zucchini. I am excited to get back on track!!
Daily Prayer -
Lord, I thank you for another opportunity to change my life. I know that I can only succeed with your help and so I come before you, humble myself and cry out to you. Lord, I need your help! I want to live a life that doesn't end prematurely due to my weight. I want to experience life without limits. Lord deliver me from my addictions, and help me become stronger and better. Lord bless us all, and keep us in your wonderful graces. Amen!

Man, life has a way of handing you some real garbage. I've been struggling lately to just stay on my feet.
I've let myself down in the weight loss department. I know I've gained a ton back, I can see it in my face. Its fuller than it was a year ago. Im going to pick myself back up and get back on track as soon as I can, but for now, this is the best I can do. I can promise myself that as soon as I get back on my feet, this weight will come back off.
It's a journey, and sometimes on a journey unexpected things happen that take you by surprise. Last year, we went to a friends wedding and on the way home, our car broke down. We were stuck in Illinois for 3 days. It cost us $800 that we didnt expect to spend. My journey isn't over. Not by a long shot, but right now, I'm stuck in Illinois and once I get out...I will be better and stronger than ever.
I just gotta tell myself to get through today. Tomorrow can wait, yesterday cant be changed. Just get through today.

They say that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem...but what if the same problem keeps coming back...
