I am on high blood pressure medication and water pill have been for the last 6 years. The doc changed my water pill because I thought the old one wasn't working very well. Oh my gosh this one was worse, I gained. I know in my head that it is the pill, because I am within my point range. Maybe had more sodium that week plus I maybe wasn't drinking enough water. I didn't want to go to weigh in and I missed my usual meeting. I did end up going the next morning to face the music. Because I am getting older the weigh is coming off more slowly and when you see the numbers go up it can really mess with you. I usually will quit after an episode like this, but I will continue to go forward. I am watching the salt, drinking my water and the pill seems to be working overtime now. Maybe it just takes awhile for my body to adjust to the new medication. I don't rely on the water pill for weight loss, it is doctor prescribed because I have water retention. So on and forward!
