Today marks a year that I started using this app to change my life. I weighed 84kgs and I felt miserable. It was a few weeks before my 40th birthday and I had so many birthday plans ruined because of lockdown and my weight got out of control more than usual, but it has been out of control for 15 years by then. I decided to make a lifelong change, not just another temporary change. I am happy to say that I have been able to keep at my current weight since the beginning of January 2021 with only small fluctuations. I would love to get to a bit more of a space between my weight and a BMI of 25, but it just has not happened. I try to balance out me weekdays and weekend days, I try to make healthy choices and I try to exercise(cold days are really hard). I am not an all or nothing person, I would rather keep healthy eating and exercise to 80% of my life to not go back to being unhealthy, than trying for 100% healthy and failing and then swinging over to 100% binge eating. I feel amazing in most of my clothes, I still have things that are much to big as I have not altered and replaced my whole wardrobe. I still get so much from this app by logging calories in and out and seeing everyone's progress. I hope we can keep on expiring each other!
