WOW did I fall off the wagon. Got a nasty case of the crud and couldn't make the gym which lead to me eating like crap because I was feeling sorry for myself. Which lead to me not going to the gym like I should. the good news is my calories have been in check all week so far and I've made it to the gym the last two nights. The best news is though I didn't lose anymore weight I somehow managed not to gain any back either.

and now for something completely different....

Why wouldn't I go to the gym? What excuse am I going with this time? I've got a long list and they have served me well on my journey to a donut shy of 400 pounds. here's my list of favorites.

Lazy Tim: I'm tired.

New Tim: No shit tubby that third trip to the buffet must have really worn you out.

Think back to when you last felt really good, had energy to spare, wore hot wife out on a regular basis. Yep it was when you were running and working out all the time. So it's going to suck for a while, you're going to be sore, and more tired...

BUT tonight, you'll sleep better,

tomorrow you'll be a little sore but you'll love to tell people that it's because you went to the gym.

There will be a little more bounce in your step.

You'll eat better because you don't want to ruin that hard work.

Avalanches in your life can be a good thing or a destructive thing. Eat a good breakfast and at lunch you don't go with the chicken fried bacon with lard gravy. At night you hit the gym again because you ate so well all day and are proud of yourself. Bazinga!! The cycle continues. Peel off for the xxl deep fried Twinkies with chocolate sauce and a new avalanche starts, and we know where that ends, don't we tubby?

Lazy Tim: I should stay home and _______ with the family.

New Tim: Really? Going down that road huh? Well you're right hanging with the family is the most important thing in the world. Keep this in mind though Jabba, when you go to the gym and take about one hour a night from that family what you're really missing is an hour of Reality TV Bullshit that Hot Wife likes to watch. When you get home after that hour, you're happier, you feel good, you don't want to sit down to the TV you want to play dolls or babies or hang with the teen. You are better when you go to the gym. Also and here's the number one fatso, you're setting an example for your family. An example that says

"My fitness, Our fitness is important. I love you all so much that I want to be around for a LONG time and not die of a heart attack at 40"

There are more but this is a good start.
