I’ve made sure I’ve eaten plenty of protein and loads of fruit and veg while I’ve had covid this week, mostly because I know a few people who’ve either been really ill or have long lasting debilitating effects on mood and energy etc so it seemed like one of the things that might help to avoid that. So I’m not starving to lose weight while I’m waiting for this to pass, the lurgy has been annoying but entirely manageable and another pound is gone.

Ooh! The feeling when you record your 1lb weight loss, thinking hey, it’s small but it’s all going in the right direction then notice all those little drops add up to losing a stone! It’s been slow so I’ve barely noticed but now I’m feeling inspired to kick it up a notch 🙂

I’m stuck in bed with covid and using the time to catch up on some reading. I gave up drinking alcohol some time ago and got wondering what’d happen if I dropped eating sugar? I’m reading Sugar Crush for reasons to stop and Zero Sugar Diet for inspiration on how to do it. 5 days in, my goal is staying healthy, strong and flexible and being comfortable wearing whatever I like will be the cherry on my sugar free cake 🙂
