Tried 1000m ocean swim today, due to a large breakfast was only able to go halfway. Try again tomorrow!

Last night:
Swam ~1000m (not sure if I counted right) if I did count correctly I swam it in 16:21! If not and I swam 50-100m under than it would be around 17:51, which is more than a minute off my first 1000m at 18:54. Only have 1 week until the Ocean Lifeguard test. Will be swimming the course this weekend. Hopefully I'll have a good idea about how much time I need to warm up for the chilly water it's around 66F right now, but the pool has been around 80F! Anyways for a hot day (which it won't be in the morning) 66F is nice, and should be fine for a long swim.
Had a stroke day this morning at masters. Started out in the higher lane, but went down a lane again since I'm not a fast swimmer for the other strokes. Was also 40 minutes late this morning, so I didn't have a proper warm-up.

Late to swimming this morning (What happens when you take a nap, skip evening swimming, then get to bed late, and don't sleep very well). But that's ok because I think I did pretty well this morning.
Start will some long distance swimming that I did with paddles, which took some adjusting, then I figured I needed a pull buoy with the paddles. So I ended up missing a lot of the long-distance swimming. Once situated however I swam half of our 50m swims on base (1:40) with the paddles and buoy. Then was cruisin' it on the second half.
Then we did 15 100m with two slow 50m. I was swimming my 100m on base with a 10 sec break! So finishing at 1:30 about every time. I was finishing with our lane leader after giving her a 5 second lead. Maybe it's time to move up a lane tomorrow. The base will be 1:30, so I'll really have to push harder. But that's the idea right. ;)

Swimming not much faster than i did two weeks ago. Only swam a 400m at 7:05, took a break than swam a 500m at 9:02. That's only 5 secs off the time I did on september 17th.

Did a few good flip turns this morning! Still really fatigued though. Irritated. :/
