Pleasant surprise when I stepped on the scale... couple more lbs. 8 more by 10/13... that's my goal right now. I'm feeling pretty positive about it. I think if I kick up my workouts a little I'm gonna make it.

Why on some days am I so much demoralized than others? People tell me I look great, but then I try on clothes and I don't fit. I SHOULD be a size 14... but then I get some pants in the mail... size 14... and it's like trying on kids clothes!I realize that some brands are sized for a more "junior" fit.. and some just run small (Worthington from JC Penney)But seriously, out of 8 pairs of pants, I still have to wait about 10 lbs before I can wear 3 of them! The rest are 12's anyway AND definitely jr proportion. I'm wearing a pair of designer slacks right now that are a size 16 and fit like a 14 should. But atleast they DO fit. (been in my closet for maybe 8 years.. don't know if I have ever actually warn them)Just frustrated right now.

Got a call from my Doc that my blood work was a little off.... liver specifically. Almost twice the high limit. He suggested maybe I'm eating too much meat... but it could also be the Cymbalta I take to control back pain or the fact that I drank like a fish in Vegas a week prior to the test. I don't know, but this could be a problem. Cholesterol is fine tho- 140... that leads me to suspect more medication or alcohol over indulgence. We'll check in another month. I realy hope it's not the diet... it's working so well and I don't want to stop it. Maybe I could replace red meat with soy products more frequently... :(

finally down 1 lb... this should be the start of about a 10-12 lb drop... seems like that's how it goes. I need 10 lbs gone in the next 3 weeks to make my next goal which is breaking 200 by my next birthday. Doing really well on carbs... gotta cut back some wine tho. But I so love my red wine! Maybe I'll just up the gym....
