I have been away from FS for a long time. I had been really struggling keeping my weight down. I went up to 146 then down and back up over the last few weeks. I finally decided to not use my scale all week after my last week's weigh in. It was very hard to avoid it at first, but I noticed I was getting upset and it started a lot of negative talk in my head that I was not losing. It put me in a bad place to start the day. Putting it away has been a very good thing for me it turns out. I have been not having the ugly self talk in the morning, I am tracking my exercise on my calendar, and I am eating less. I can feel a difference in my muscles getting tighter and everything tightening in again as I do more push ups, sit ups and floor exercises. Doing these things regularly makes a big difference. I am shooting to be back down to my goal in November.

We've had a fun summer with lots of vacations. Consequently, my weight went up to 146. Yikes!! It has been going down as I'm working on it so am happy about that. The kids go back to school tomorrow which brings back a regular routine to life. I really need to get the weight back down- this is not good! But I am feeling back in control and optimistic it will keep going down.

I did my 2nd sprint triathlon this past weekend. My time was 1 hr, 43 minutes. I beat my time last year by over 3 mintues. All went well, despite a very hot day at 90 degrees for the run.

Triathlon tomorrow! It's super hot and humid here so hoping and praying the weather will cooperate!!
I have my goal times mapped out. I hope to beat last year's times- we'll see!
