I lost 0.4 pounds this week but truly it was a pleasant surprise. I spent most of this week up 1 to 1.5 pounds. This is the first time all week that I dipped below last week's weigh in. I was significantly over in calories 4 days this week so I wasn't surprised by the struggle to keep my weight down. Frankly, I am taking this loss as a dodging the bullet moment and will build on it this upcoming week. It is my intention to not have significantly high days this week!
I planted my garden on Thursday. I have a very small garden however it was pleasurable to get it planted. My lawn has had its first mowing yesterday. Feels like summer! My lady who did my stucco is back working on putting up the rock features. They are looking wonderful however it is painstakingly slow work. This week I put in a lot of hours toward getting book sale volunteers in place- not quite done but getting closer.

Three weeks in a row I have lost 1.2 pounnds. Four weeks ago I gained 0.2 lb. This month feels very consistent. I am always most comfortable with consistency as it feels sustainable.
I still have not regained the ground I lost at Christmas but I am inching my way there again. To get back to my lowest weight in December I have about another 8 pounds to go. I remind myself that this is the long haul and not about the short bursts. The weight gain in December happened over 3 days of craziness and then in the first two weeks of April I gained 10 pounds. The path is not without its ups and downs.
I am in the midst of planning the first ever Used Book Sale for our local Women's Shelter. We are flying by the seat of our pants. It is a go June 24-26 come what may!

I lost another 1.2 pounds this week. I am pleased to see steady progress.
I did pretty well on the sugar front until yesterday. I was at a conference that the local cafe catered. They make good homestyle food. The chicken soup was wonderful as was the half meat sandwhich. All good! And then there was the squares where I chose 3! No off button. They were delicious. I was careful to eat a bit less at supper. In the end this morning was a 0.2 pound gain. Dodged a bullet.
I went to a conference featuring Jody Carrington. She is an inspiring speaker! A bit gritty but passionate. I recommend seeing her if you ever get the opportunity. I understand that she does podcasts. I will have to check them out.
I transplanted my plants and am keeping them in my garage until next weekend - I am trying to wait until we are no longer having freezing overnight temperatures. I am hoping to plant them next weekend - provided it isn't pouring rain!

Yesterday I wrote about moving my tank. Here is a picture of what I moved!! Below is what I wrote about how I got it off my truck and onto this stand.
My non scale win yesterday was that I single handedly removed the 500-gallon water tank out of the back of my truck and put it on its stand. That may sound easy but it wasn't! The tank itself is around 100 pounds or more plus it had some residual water in it. Not sure what the total weight was but it took all my effort to get one corner up an inch to slide a board in under it. Then I had to use a metal pipe to lever the other side up in order to slide it onto the stand. Once it was all aimed to go onto the stand, I leaned my back against the tank that is around 4.5 feet tall and shoved with all my might to get it to move 6-10 inches. Eventually I got it onto the stand. I won!!

Clocking in a 1.2 lb loss this week. That is a relief. Finally going in the right direction! It has taken awhile to turn this slow boat around.
It truly comes down to concentrated sugars and flour (bread, crackers, biscuits, etc.). The flour aspect is because I don't have an off button around them.
