I've been a bit under the weather, and tired....my stomach hasn't been "right" since I got back from Guam. So, I haven't been eating as much...naturally. However, I'm shocked that I dropped so may pounds so quickly. I've been trying to economize in 2008, and so I have been eating at home, mostly, which is healthier, because I don't usually buy unhealthy food for the house.

Well, although I started "eating good" over the past 2 days, today's my official start day--although I'm not counting points, I'll be doing Weight Watchers. I know the diet so well (having been on it before), that I don't need to monitor my intake point by point. What I mean is, I have a really good idea about whether I am "on diet" with this plan, or not. I was non-compliant with journaling points last time that I did WW, yet I experienced steady weight loss with it. It was as though, once I realized what my "quota" of food was, and what I could and could not eat, I was able to do it, or at least if I fell off the wagon, I could pretty precisely pinpoint why the weight hadn't come off that week :-)
Now, I need to retrieve my exercise clothes from the luggage, and put them in the car, so that I can start my gym work....I want to look better, so I think that I am really going to focus on strength training. I don't have a huge amount of weight to lose this time, just 10-15 lbs, so Spinning 1 or 2 days a week and cardio lite for the strength training days should hopefully burn enough fat off, over the duration of the diet. Right?

Just got back from Guam yesterday....will need all weekend to recover from the jetlag. I will start dieting/exercising again on Monday.

Still in Guam, still on vacation....did some yoga, but haven't really exercised, and have had "bad food and drink" every single day. My goal here is to maintain. Then, when I go back to the mainland, I hope to reduce by ~2 lbs/week.

I'm just too busy, too stressed, and too distracted right now to be on any sort of diet! Perhaps after the New Year I'll focus on diet. I am, however, planning to re-start my cardio conditioning and Spinning regimen. So, for now, exercise, and likely not going to be following any sort of diet plan. I'll focus instead on portion size...
