Hey Everyone,
Today has been a great day full of workouts and good eating. Today I ran 4.2 miles, played basketball for about 20 minutes, then jumped rope, and lifted weights. Surprising how easy you can burn over 1800 calories. For lunch I ate a salad (no dressing) pineapples, and for protein I had a snickers peanut butter bar, I gave half to my wife. For dinner I had shrimp, grilled chicken, and then spinach with pasta and risotto. I will weigh in next week, but I already feel more pep in my step. I'm loving it.

Wasn't able to log fridays entry because I was super tired after staying up for the longest watching the Olympic introduction. For friday It was a splurge day for me, but the beginning of the morning through the afternoon I was very conservative. I had a small serving of cereal 8oz of 1% milk, I went to the gym and lifted weights for 30 minutes followed by cardio for an hour. I ate watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew for lunch. I chugged down a fruit smoothie as well before going to see The Dark Knight Rises (Good Movie by the way) I concluded my evening by eating at a Korean Restaurant with my wife and daughter, and had cereal for a snack later in the evening. Even with the dinner I guestimate that I consumed far less calories than I anticipated, only because Korean dishes are mostly vegetable, with exception of the beef short ribs and the bulgogi. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
For Today (Saturday) I am eating 110g of rice krispies, 2 cups of 1% milk and that will do it for my breakfast. I will log in with more later!!!

Felt real sore today so i didn't work out as hard. I went to the gym, shot around (basketball) for about 25 minutes, then I did 15 minutes on the elliptical, and then I did 6 weight lifting exercises 1 set of 12 reps. Then I went home and at lunch (chicken wings, beef fried rice) and dinner (cereal and 1% milk) Now I'm going to rest, and run early in the morning an give the gym my all for friday. I hope everyone had a productive day. Next weigh in is in a week.

Today I had Frosted Flakes Cereal (60 grams) with 1% milk (10 oz). Got to the gym and ran 3.60 miles, lifted weights, then ended the workout with swimming. I got a body massage to sooth my sore muscles from workouts early this week. Still feel sore. For lunch I ate Chik-Fil-A (A large waffle fries, A chicken Sandwich, and 3 Chicken Strips). For dinner I snacked on some pita chips, and I have cinnamon toast crunch (130 grams) with 1% Milk (14 oz) Im still allotted another 1,283 calories, but I feel satisfied from what I ate already. I will probably have a banana to retain water I drink this evening, and then give my all in the gym tomorrow. Until then!!!

First entry. Today is Tuesday and it is a rest day for me. Monday I ran 4.93 miles through Ft Jackson and then lifted weights. I rested and returned to the gym to lift more weights. Today I cleaned around the house and i'm going to enjoy some fried rice with beef, a shrimp egg roll, ad a apple. Dinner I will have a healthy choice meal. Wednesday I will wake up early to run at least 3 miles, followed by lifting weights at the gym and then swimming.
Well I ended up not going swimming or even working out. That was a good thing because it was a recovery day. I ended up eating beef fried rice to replenish the protein and carbs I lost on Monday, a shrimp egg roll, and a apple. I cleaned up in the house for a couple of hours so at least I got a slight burn going up and down the stairs. I ended my evening with a southwest chicken salad, and a beef and broccoli healthy choice meal. In total I still had 1290 calories I could have eaten but I was satisfied with all I ate today. Now I have to wake up at 3am to run 3 miles, then it will be a good 2 to 3 hour gym session. I guess i'll do 2 hours, then 45 minutes to an hour of swimming, followed by a steam room cool down, and ending with a well deserved massage from massage envy. Until next entry...
