In 2019 I'll turn 40. Why does 40 feel like a new century? It's not like I think that 50 is old, most of my friends are in their 40s and 50s. But for me to be out of my 30s, it just sounds funny in my brain.
I want to be awesome at 40. So... I have 7 months to work to be a better, more awesome me. (I'm already awesome, so all that I can really do is be more awesome, naturally) But what does a better me really mean to me? I think less belly & butt rolls is a good start. Spiritually, I could use a good refreshment too. My goals are forming in my head as I type. I'll commit to something this week - just not sure exactly how to "refresh" my faith. As for my fitness goals; and the removal of the butt & belly rolls... a jogging program always helps.
I started the C25K training program again this week. I've started this program many times. About 50% of the time I actually finish it. My failures are typically due to a small injury or sickness that kicks me out of rhythm. My success is always due to tenacity and commitment. I'm excited that a good friend of mine (in real life) is going to do it with me & we'll meet every 2 weeks to walk/jog together.
Gotta run. Time for work!

I knew that I would struggle in November to stay on track... then in December to get back on track.... so here I am, with lots of work to do!
