I always like to log a drop right when it happens - even though I know that I am probably going to wrestle with ups and downs before I break through consistently at that lower weight. Hope that makes sense; it always works that way with me. I attribute weight loss at this point to anything and everything: working long hours outside and skipping an occasional lunch, trying to keep to eating one or two meals a day with no snacks, but having a zero-belly smoothie when hunger strikes. It’s the progress over the long haul that really makes the difference, but we need little motivations kicks every now and then. I’ve dropped right at 40 lbs since I said, Ënough is enough! 50 more to go; and I feel like its doable. Toodles!

It’s slow going, but I’m still moving in a positive direction. Or maybe I should say - a negative direction. 😋 I’m still doing the plant based smoothies once or twice a day, still working out on the Total Gym, and even jogging a bit on the treadmill. Just finishing up building a 3-Cord Firewood Storage rack. Took me 2 days to shingle the roof; I could tell going up and down a ladder with shingles was stressing joints I hadn’t used for a while. All is good I am in great shape for the shape I’m in. 😀Praying that all my friends on here make great progress. Toodles!

Yay! Finally broke through the 250 barrier! Of course I probably sweat it off yesterday; it was so muggy. But I’ll take it! Lost 4 inches off the waist since my last measurement; at least my chest is bigger than my waist now. LOL! Toodles.

Good day, My Friends! Well, it appears that what I am doing is working. I wish I could say that it was one simple thing that is doing it for me, but we all know that wouldn’t be true. Weight loss takes some discipline and knowledge no matter how you spin the tale. Here’s what I have been doing: I’ve all but cut out anything made with granulated sugar or fructose. That’s probably the biggest factor. I work out about 20 minutes on my Total Gym, then I have a plant based fat burning smoothie. I’ll have another one 4 or 5 hours later, and then eat a fairly well balanced meal at supper (not vegetarian). Every now and then I’ll go until noon the next day for another smoothie. The fat burning smoothies are all from a book called “Zero Belly Smoothies” by David Zinczenko. I’ve tried a bunch of them; they all have significant amount of protein, fat and fiber and are generally under 300 calories. Also, they are delicious and the fiber keeps the cravings away for 4 or 5 hours. Sorry this turned into an advertisement; just thought it might help someone else. Toodles!
