I'm a 19 year old freshman in college who's overweight and tired of it. I'm a physical therapy major with a psychology minor. All throughout my life, I've been overweight. In my sophomore year of high school, I did lose 20 lbs and get down to 175 lbs, which was great. Then, junior and senior year brought a lot of stress, some depression, and just a general "given up" feeling when it comes to weight loss. College hasn't been kind to me. Bad food, late night trips to fast food places, tons of stress, and the ever-popular alcohol. When I entered college, I was around 216. I bloated up to 229 by the end of the semester. I lost 2 lbs since I've been home on Christmas break, possibly a little more.

I'm the kind of person who likes to see instant results which, obviously, weight loss is not instant. I'm wanting to lose weight for a lot of reasons: to be healthier, to feel good about myself/love myself, to help out my bad knees, and wanting my boyfriend to look at me in a different way. I know that he loves me but, he's super fit, as is his whole family. I juts feel like, how can he love me and/or be attracted to me when I'm a lot bigger than he is.

I know I just have to stick it out to lose this weight. If anyone would like to help me out with some motivation, I'm all for it and I'll do my best to do the same!
