I work at a moderately stressful desk job 40+ hours a week. My go-to stress relievers have been simple carbs (potato chips & ice cream). I've lost weight before by avoiding simple carbs and eating a strictly controlled diet, but found I needed more variety. I'm adding more veggies and fruit to my diet to replace the ice cream and potato chips. I love exercising with weights and am learning to like aerobic exercise like spinning & jogging.
