I just turned 29 and am starting to get serious about losing weight! I have tried other diets and programs, but this is my first time truly counting calories. I have consistently gained 5 pounds a year since I was about 16 and quit playing sports. My heaviest has been around 245, when I started feeling like I don’t recognize myself anymore. Hoping to get back to the strong, athletic version of me - the way I still picture myself when there’s no mirror around!!

Currently going for around 1300 calories per day, and experimenting with my macros to see what makes sense for me. I naturally tend towards a high fat diet. Trying to up my protein to 25% as I often run low. Not exercising yet but interested in starting back into weightlifting, hiit and plyometrics (sorry downstairs neighbors!)
