Hi Everyone,

I am a 46 year old woman who has struggled with her weight all her life. I became a flight attendant nearly 20 years ago, and I absolutely love my job. I have recently transferred to International (2.5 years ago), and it has really interfered with my weight loss goals :(

I hit my heaviest weight twice in my life. The first time was when I was 21 years old and I rectified the situation by joining Weight Watchers, and then over the following few years got to my lowest of 72 kgs. The weight crept back on and I kept trying various diets and programs to try and keep my weight at a stable 80 kgs. A few times the weight crept up towards 90 and with the help of Weight Watchers I managed to get it back down. I went on another diet called Dukan Diet, and, as much as it dropped my weight down to 72 kgs again, I quickly regained it, and over the 7 years since then,and,after my Hawaiian holiday, I hit 100 kgs. *post note as of October 2019 I hit 102 kgs...

I have been aware of the LCHF diet for some time but have not really had much will power to stop eating carbs altogether. I don't have a problem with eating higher fat, but it is always the carbs!

I got married in 2014, and since then, I have gained about 25 kgs. I feel horrible and shopping has lost its appeal since I go into some shops and they don't have my size (18), or sometimes I need a bigger size :(

I tried 16:8 and 5:2 but at the moment I am trying to just eat 1200 calories a day. I was also diagnosed with an underactive Thyroid that doesn't help my situation.

I hope the Thyroid Medication assists me to stop the weight gain, and to actually help me lose 30 odd kilograms.
