I started to get serious about changing my life again the end of of 2022. My sister-in-law renewed my DDPY subscription for my Yule gift, and I did my first Beginner workout on 12/5/22.

I wanted to make my changes slowly so they'd stick. I started with DDPY, then added walking. After that, I changed my water intake and cut out energy drinks. Next was diet. For the first time in my life I'm tracking macros and am learning to not be afraid of food. I'm learning to not depend on caffeine, and figuring out how to listen to my body in ways I never even thought existed.

I don't have a goal weight right now. I want to see how I feel as I continue this journey. I want to see how my health changes. My goal is to feel confident and sexy both in and out of my clothes. I want stronger knees and hips, and for my newly acquired squatting abilities to have more finesse, endurance, and flexibility. I want to walk into my 2024 physical and blow away my doctor with how far I've come, and if I'm really lucky, be able to dump some of my meds.

This isn't the first time I've actively been on this path, but I'm doing it a new way this time. And this time, I'm going to get where I want to go.
