I started at roughly 330 lbs. I had gastric bypass on July 1, 2010. I got down to as low as 111 (too thin!) and held at right about 138-144 until my partial hysterectomy in February of 2015. Now, it seems that no matter what I do, I can't seem to make any progress with my weight. It has never been easy.. even after surgery, I had to watch everything that I put into my mouth, but now it seems almost impossible. Time to hit it HARD! I can't just be careful anymore.. I have to actually TRAIN.
I don't even want to be THIN, I just want to be healthy. The steady gaining seems to have leveled off at just a HAIR under 200. I am not so concerned with the number on the scale as I am the number on the tag in my clothes. At 140ish, I was a size 4/6. I am now in a 14.
Here's hoping that old dogs CAN learn new tricks.
