I've been thin/average weight my whole life. At 5'10, I've always been able to carry my weight plus a little extra weight here and there very well.
I was hit with my first severe depressive episode in November of 2017. I turned to drugs to cope (stimulants). I completely lost myself for about 8 months, losing 27 pounds in the process. I finally reached out for help in July of 2018 and entered treatment.
I've been clean since July 17, 2018. Yay! However, I've gained a significant amount of weight. My highest weight was 218 in March. I'm down to 209, but still have a long road ahead of me to get down to my goal weight of 175.
