Well lets see here, I am 25 years old and have been struggling with my weight my WHOLE life! When I was 20 or so I lost about 75 pounds, I went from 240 to 165 in a matter of months but I did not do it the healthy way. I starved myself and took diet pills, and while I was extremely satisfied with the weight loss I wasn't with how I felt inside. I was run down and tired and got lots of headaches. After maintaining the weight loss for about 2 years I found out I was pregnant, happy news for my life but not for my struggle with weight. During the duration of nine months I convinced myself that I was eating for two and I could eat anything I wanted.I set myself up for failure and I did it, I failed myself, one more time. I gained a whopping 100 pounds in nine months, talk about a bummer and feeling depressed, there is nothing worse than being FAT and becoming SKINNY just to be FAT all over again. After I had my daughter none of my pre pregnancy clothes fit, I couldn't even get them over my butt now. I pretty much gave up at that point I have a newborn and am very tired so I decided OK i will just be fat. Well eight months later my husband and I find out, oops. pregnant again. By this point I had only lost the weight from breast feeding, I lost about 35 pounds and now I had to do it all over. I was terrified of gaining 100 poumds again and getting to that point of fatness where losing the weight is always out of reach. Well I gained 45 pounds I was so happy to have gained so little. Now two babies and 5 years later I weigh 260 not much above my beginning weight, so here I am starting the South Beach diet with a strong will and determination. I want to run with my kids and not get out of brethe in the first minute. January 9th was my first day of the diet and I look forward to losing LOTS of weight, at least 100 pounds. This time I want to be helthy about my weight loss I want to be around for a long time.
