I am a Regional Manager for a national pest control company. I fly a LOT for my job. I am married with 2 kids (17 & 13). I live at the beach in NJ. I have been struggling with my weight since I was born. Discovered running in my late 20s and have managed to maintain a healthy weight averaging about 140 pounds. I am 5'10". I have run marathons and hundreds of other races, very active in Tae Bo, Insanity and P90X up until about 2 years ago when something happened. Can't figure out what. I guess menopause killed me. I can barely run, feel weak, can only do 25 pushups (used to do 200 daily), etc. I am a fitness freak and can barely get up the stairs without all of my muscles aching. Bloodwork is good. No health issues. Haaaate being over 50. Mentally I am tanking because of it. Running and fitness routines were my happy place. I have gained 15 pounds and feel like crap. Trying so hard to figure it out, and I make sure I do SOMETHING every day...even if only 15 minutes of calesthenics. Hoping the tools here help me figure it out and get back to a more reasonable fitness level.
