Im middle aged and have been on this diet roller coaster for most of my life. I have discovered that my main problem is that I never got enough physical activity. No other reason then I just did not know I was supposed to. Nobody every encouraged me to move my ass. Now its hard to keep the habit. I'm not growing old gracefully, I have some major arthritis and it is hell to keep the body in motion. I am struggling this time. Two years ago I was killing it. Had my weight down to the lowest I had been in 20 years and I was doing well. Then I had a hip replacement, followed by a slipped disk and that was the end of it. I gained back everything I lost and then some. I have been in health care for 30 years, I'm educated and I know what I need to do. I am just having a hard time getting it done. Especially since I feel defeated. I worked so hard and it all went to hell in hand basket. I used My Fitness Pal for years but after the recent hacking I decided to go forth and find a new app. I hope I can find the inspiration I am looking for.
