I am a 59 year old woman who grew up thinking I could eat anything without consequences! By the age of 40 my metabolism changed and I gain weight the way I would like to earn money: very easily!
With a diagnostic of EDS that explained my chronic pain, flat feet, hypermobility and more health issues, I have found it difficult to excercise (pain and extreme tiredness), this at the same time sometimes makes me sad.
My best time of the year is spring-summer as cold and gray weather increases my pain and is not a very happy time for me.
I have found groups such as calorie counter very useful: they provide the opportunity to share experiences, make friends and get support; additionally, registering my food intake allows me to be accountable towards the way I am working towards my personal goals.
