Hi everyone, new to all this, 1year ago i was a healthy 11 stone, 4 months ago I had my beautiful baby boy, but went up to 18stone!!😭 I've lost 3 stone probably down to breastfeeding, but I'm now just stuck! Reading through the post you all seem amazing and so supportive. So if any of you guys have any tips then they would be so welcoming! Lots of love

Hi, if your still breast feeding then you need to eat the right food and keep to a good amount of daily food intake. I would keep to 6 small meals and plenty of fluid. Divide your total calorie intake into 6 and have healthy ingredients.

Hey, I stopped breastfeeding about 4 weeks ago just due to not eating enough for both me and the baby, but since not breastfeeding I don't think I've lost much, but then again I don't weigh every week, (last time I weighed was 4weeks ago) I think I just wanna be healthy and not be ill. I need to find the right balance xx

in the last few days I've cut down to stop breast feeding after almost 10 months exclusively breastfeeding I've loved it but been hard. in that time I've lost weight and gained and lost. depends really but the hunger always got me and drink plenty. one thing I will say never weigh if haven't fed baby yet. the milk makes huge difference to scales I found upto 2lb from not fed to fed and empty. I'm looking forward to getting body back and hoping appetite drop. anxious tho as now will not be making milk and if true burning calories I'm worried gain again

I had my babies years ago and put on lots of weight too. Apparently your body holds on to everything for 6 months after giving birth, a natural function to help with breast feeding, energy stores etc.. Despite not breastfeeding myself for more than 3 weeks, couldn't shift an ounce for 6 months.. so I guess there's some truth in it. Frustrating, but give yourself time and eat well, really well and healthy, as you need all the energy you can get! You can do it.. Good luck!
