SCALE: 8:30am 322 lbs Up 1.6 lbs
SLEEP: To bed at 1am. To sleep by 2:30am. Awake at 8:30am. Slept 6hrs.
MEALS: breakfast 9am -2 toast w peanut butter & banana, decaf, Lunch 12:30pm -cabbage veggie beef soup w parmesan cheese & yogurt. 1:40 -raisin toast w cheddar cheese. Supper 5:30pm - turkey pepper fajita on 2 mini tortillas on bed of lettuce. Snack 9pm 1/2 banana.

THOUGHTS: at 12am -In a lot of pain especially my hips and lower back, a 8/10, as it has been on and off all day and night long. There seems to be a connection to sitting & eating something, followed 30 minutes later by start of pain in legs/hips/ lower back, which builds to a crescendo and stays high for about 30 minutes and then starts to subside relatively quickly. Stressed. Thinking when it does, I should be ready to call 911 because maybe this is more serious: heart attack? gall bladder? blood clot? Or is it just side effects of heart drugs or arthritis flaring up or 'in my head'. I have gathered important info and medical cards together, just in case. BUT I dread going to Emergency on a late Saturday night... so full of drug addicts...the chemical smells coming from the meth and heroin users is nauseating and it is so crowded and highly stressful.
at 2am -2am- still pain right across my lower back, but it seems to be subsiding, 6/10. I have decided not to call 911, but instead I put a notebook by my pillow and decided to journal everything till I fell asleep, and all day Saturday; all to pain, when it starts, when it ends, & BP.
Odd thing- when I turn off the light and I close my eyes, I am seeing flashing monster faces inside my eyelids. Not very pleasant... in fact very creepy. Another odd thing: my hands and feet have always been cold, but since starting these 2 heart drugs on Feb 5, my feet and hands are hot all the time... and that is a good thing, I think.


MEDS: 9am 25mg Metopropol. 5:30pm 20mg Xeralto. 9pm 25mg Metopropol.

BP/RATE/PAIN: 1:20am 133/87 56p in bed. 2am 147/96 55p in bed, pain in legs & hips, 4/10, ice packs. 8:30am 129/78 56p awake, pain lower back & legs but mild 2/10, stomach bloated. 8pm 106/88 56p'irr.heart', sitting pain about 3/10. 8:30pm 154/97 61p, pain subsided. 9pm 138/100 57p had snack and pill, feel OK. 9:30 pm 150/102 56p 'irr.heart' in bed. extreme pain in lower back 9/10, ice packs. 10pm 135/93 100p'irr.heart' pacing, extreme pain 9/10, ice packs. 10:30pm 170/118 99p'irr.heart'same pain. 11pm 170/118 104p'irr.heart' same pain. 11:45pm 153/112 107p'irr.heart' pain starting to subside, sitting watching TV with ice packs, craving sweets.
