Day 125- So today starts a big weekend, off to Hartford to see DMB 2 nights in a row. The show on Weds was great! There is just something about being at one of their shows that you can not replicate. I did fine at that show, but I did drink a bit more beer than I had planned to, nothing bad or get in trouble level, just more than I had planned.
The journey is going well, food has not been a real problem, but one night this week I had to a lot of research online before going out to dinner. Where I was staying did not have many options. I am not sure how I am going to handle this weekend, am I going to eat good or relax and enjoy? I have been thinking about this, and I think even if I try to relax I will still eat right. I won’t let myself eat the crap because it will make me feel crappy.
Kind of a funny story, so earlier in the week I was wearing shorts and they are old ones from last summer, well I had a little problem…… when you drive as much as I do you make a lot of pit stops at rest stops and when I would go in with those shorts on, they were so big that once I undid my belt they would just fall to my ankles. I had to hold onto everything just to take a piss. You really don’t realize how big of a deal this is until you have to do it, lol. Needless to say I stopped at an outlet mall and got some new shorts and man do they feel & look good! I have gone from a tight 36 to a comfy 33, a 32 will fit but a little tight. I think in another month the 32’s will be my size. It just proved that I need to get new cloths! I look so much better in cloths that fit me, I never thought I would be able to see the difference.
A first happened to me this week while on the road, I was out to dinner and went to pay for my dinner with my company card and it got rejected. Come to find out the next morning that someone had stolen my card # and was trying to use it at a Wal-Mart in GA, I was in NC. And anybody that knows me knows, I DON’T SHOP AT WALLMART! (I will do a journal entry on that someday.) So my I have to get a new card. It made me wonder, where did they get it? After talking to my office, it appears that everyone in our company that visited NC in the past few years has had their CC# stolen. Something is going on down there……..
