Help needed,..today’s ‘total carb intake’ was 140gs,...is that good or bad??? 🤔 I can’t get a grip of it coz I’m ONLY counting calories.

So I was watching Diet secrets and how to lose weight this week, it was all about carbs. Basically, carbs are fine in moderation, try and swap things like chips with rice etc.. Also that carbs should only take up a quarter of a meal. I'd say that its really hard to eat too many carbs when you're calorie counting because they're full of calories. I'm going to watch that programme too. We need carbs for energy so just think 'moderation' We seem to have brown rice in our house a lot these days.

If you only counting calories you are doing the right thing, stick to it and dont worry too much about amount of carbs as long as you stay in calories deficit.

i have finished my day at 1400 kcal and 119 g carbs.

I stick to around 1600 calories a day. Carbs 112g a day. X
