I have returned from my world travels. I had a fantastic trip with the family to the UK. Unfortunately for my belly, this trip involved no small amount of meat pies, fish & chips, and sticky toffee pudding.
Since returning home, I have stocked up the house with fresh fruit and veg and working out a meal plan. I have tried hard to balance the kids' desire to eat all of their comfort foods with some healthy choices. One move was to buy a big bag of "super greens" at costco and I plan to add a side salad to everything. My son was less than thrilled by this development, but he dutifully munched on his kale--I just ignored the faces he made while he did it.
