The house didn't fall apart while I was unwell and the girls & hubby did do the few chores that I asked for so that's a big plus. I'm feeling much, much better again today and pretty much back to my normal self.
I'm so busy at work and at home. Although I'm a really organized person I'm finding it hard to make enough time to fit everything in. Of course, that means something has to give, and usually, I'm happy to say, that something is housework. I'm lucky enough to have a lady in to clean once a fortnight and I do the bare minimum in between - laundry and ironing, clean kitchen and bathrooms. Weeks like this one, where there have been after-school meetings 3 days so far, make it even more difficult. I made a delicious dinner from leftovers within half an hour so me and the girls are fed and full with nutritious healthy food, and that has to be a priority. Husband has just come in - he's so easy, bless him. He's often not home for dinner and when he is home he's completely undemanding. If he doesn't like what's on offer he'll make himself something different!
It's now nearly 9 pm and at a minimum I must mark some test papers before I go to bed, so I'm off to do that now.
