Morning y'all, hope everyone is having a great day. While slatherin up this morning with the sunscreen that darn little voice says "It's gonna be a hot one today ". Then as I was gettin ice to put in my 1/2 gallon thermos it said " Tell them, tell them ". So y'all don't forget to stay hydrated, this time of year is even more crucial. Water helps make all the difference. I've stepped up to a minimum of 64 ounces while at work, dang pavement bounces the heat back off of it. Bright side I get one heck of a tan. The heat will drain your energy so be careful and pay attention to your body while working out in the outdoors through the summer.

Yes! Water is Life...

I have a reminder that calls me and remind's me to drink water as i have been walking much further than i was. We have had some really warm day's here around 90 degrees and no rain so it is pretty hot. I have actually had to lower my water intake as i was drinking over 100 fluid ounces a day and i see swelling in my legs from water retention. once i get that sorted i will have a good idea of my water intake. Take care and happy work day.

Thanks for the reminder....we seem to always have a container of water with us. If you live in the warmer climes, you just do it.

Or they count caffeinated or bubbly drinks the same as water consumption. And while they may help with fluid intake, they aren't as good as straight water. Speaking as someone who rarely drinks straight water, but summer is different. Add a bit of iodized salt to it if it gets into the 90's as my momma used to.

I knew a guy who lost a ton of weight by drinking water. he has this giant container that he carried with him everywhere and he was adamant that's how he lost all his weight. think about it, it keeps you full. it flushes things out. it's great for your complexion, etc, etc. great job on the weight loss! keep us informed!
