Today, I slipped into a red body-hugging dress and proceeded to work. My coworker complimented me: "What are you so dressed up for?" I'm taking it as a compliment. Now the things I have had to do to contort my body into wearing this dress should be illegal. I'm pretty sure I have separated a rib on my right side and the compression undergarments have pushed five pounds of excess belly fat downward to the only place it could escape at the bottom of the shorts revealing 2.5 pounds of fat surrounding each of my knees. I am fairly certain I burned calories trying to skid-daddle into this getup. I can't tell if I'm hungry because I think my liver has been relocated into my stomach. I will do my best not to faint today or get into a car accident because I want no one to realize that I have essentially wrapped myself in a sausage casing underneath this dress. I look as if I've lost weight...assuming you don't catch a glimpse of my knees.
Most.Uncomfortable.Outfit.Ever.
