Rough weekend. I don't even want to weigh myself yet. The stray cat we took in a few weeks ago had kittens. 3 of the 4 survived. I have never delivered kittens before and I was crushed that one of them did not survive. I guess that its kind of common, but I didn't expect it. Well to make matters worse. Another kitten was really weak and struggling. Mom cat just wasn't caring for it so I began feeding it replacement formula. I stayed up with it for two nights and had it sleeping on my neck. It died yesterday in my hands. I haven't stopped crying. I feel so bad for it. It tried so hard. It took two deep breaths and was gone. So very sad. Sorry to be such a downer.
