A couple months back, someone lost control of their car and drove right through the front window of our local doughnut shop. After insurance hassles and repairs, they were finally able to reopen three weeks ago. I have had doughnuts on the brain since then! I almost bought them yesterday. This morning I woke up early for no reason and all I could think about was surprising the kids with sweet treats when they awoke. I could almost smell them.
Some combination of will power and laziness won out because I am still sitting at home in my PJs with no doughnuts.
