Plateaus are natural. Maybe tweak your diet and exercise a bit as the body will get used to, and settle in, to a particular diet, especially if you've been on it for a while. You need to fool your body! You'll get moving again. Nelly, don't stick to a diet until you find it works; cutting calories is a great start but you may need to experiment with carb and protein intake, etc. Also, exercise is important (although there are plenty here who don't agree, I am a great advocate of getting moving).
