I went to a chemist a couple of months ago and asked the assistant for ANYTHING that could fix sinus infection so I could avoid antibiotics. I also get hayfever. She recommended: FESS, FESS and more FESS (saline sprays). I even bought the sinus flushing apparatus and saline sachets. She said flush the sinuses as many times a day as you can. Then she said to take olive leaf extract with some zinc, and vitamin C in small amounts, many times a day. She said to use steam as often as you can bare. And take garlic as much as you can bare, it's an antibiotic. After around 6 days, it worked!! I have never been able to do that without antibiotics. Now I still do daily sinus irrigation. It is weird and somewhat gross, but boy does it work. If you have infection there, use more saline so it's "hyper-saline" that kills the bacteria and aids healing.
