I wanted to do a weigh in today, because I couldn't believe it. I managed to lose some weight. With Christmas! I told myself that my diet will be there on Monday, and that I will allow myself to go a little crazy.

I didn't get a huge plate of stuff. I ate in moderation, but it was stuff that I hadn't had in a very long time (potato chips, pepperoni, mini mozzarella sticks). I limited myself, but I was sure I was going to gain weight this week. When I woke up this morning, and weighed myself, I was prepared for the worse. But then my scale read 184.4!! I couldn't believe it. That's why I had to record a weigh in.

Christmas was so much fun. I was so happy to finally give out all my gifts that I had been hoarding for the past month. I also got some awesome gifts that are going to help me on my journey. A friend of mine, who in the past had some awesome results with Weight Watcher. I also bug her about 90 times a day about what I should eat, got me the Hungry-Girl cookbook. Which I am now obsessed with. She also go me a lunch box, so I'm going to the supermarket!!! That's right, I'm not scared of the supermarket and I'm bringing my lunch everyday. I even started today, so I'm happy.

Now, it's New Years. Hopefully I can get a little bit crazy again, and still manage to keep my weight down. I set a goal for myself to be 15 pounds lighter by January 1, and I have 1.4 pounds to reach that goal. Once I do that, I'll work on my next goal. 15 lbs on or before Boyfriend and my 2 year anniversary. That's March 29th. So, I'm hoping that I'll be 30lbs lighter at that point. That's the future though, I'm focusing on this week.

I hope everyone's Christmas was awesome and that everyone has a happy new year.

1. Trusting myself to eat the stuff I don't usually eat, in moderation
2. Looking forward to keeping a resolution this year
3. Spending time with people who love me no matter what, but are proud when I reach my goals.
4. Friends who care about my journey enough to help me along on it.
5. Lazy nights on the couch with old movies.
