FOOOD!!!! ahhh!!!

Alright, I've gotten that out of my system. I've been eating the same thing everyday. It's kinda driving me crazy. I got my salad yesterday, and looking at it almost made me sick. I was literally picking pieces of lettuce out of it and putting them in my mouth like I was 3. I couldn't even look at that salad.

I need a good healthy alternative, immediately. I work in an office, I'm 26 and hate going to the supermarket. I hate it alot. I've managed to lose my 6 lbs so far by eating Dunkin' Donuts in the morning and McDonald's for lunch. Albeit, it's been eggwhites for breakfast and salad for lunch, but still. I know, I could be saving SO much money by not doing that anymore, but once again, procrastination.

Hating what I'm eating aside, I've been drinking a lot of water. To the point of when I finish a cup of water, I get up and pee. Is that bad? I know it's cleansing your system of all the toxins and then held water, but really? I'm going 7 times a day, and that's just at work.

It'll all be worth it in the end, right?

Maybe one day when I don't hate how I look, I'll get around to posting a picture...we'll see maybe a New Years' picture, perhaps...

I completely understand! I'm 24 and stuck in an office cubicle. and sometimes is just so hard to eat healthy. I love and hate grocery shopping, love it because I'm buying the things I want, hate it cuz I usually buy stuff I want but isnt healthy, and spending more than what I wanted. I get bored easily so having the same thing to eat all the time really gets to me to the point where i hate eating it and wont eat it again (like a salad) for months! I'm trying to keep a couple pieces of fruit in my desk for when I need a snack, like oranges or apples. I'm new to weight watchers so I'm still figuring out what things i can have and splurge on and what things I should really stay away from. good luck!

I've done weight watchers a couple of times, it always worked, for the first couple of weeks. Then something would happen, and I'd say I'd get back to it, and I never did. I would gain back twice what I lost. Every morning I go to Dunkin' Donuts and 711 before work, I pick up some diet soda, and those dole fruit cups. They are only 1 point, and delicious and very convient. They are packages with a little spork. Not that diet food tastes bad, but think about what you love the most. It's not carrots and broccoli. It's cake and doritos. Salt and vinegar potato chips and cheez-doodles. Well those are the things I need to stay away from, my mouth is watering. Also, when you go out to eat and you think that a turky burger is a healthy alternative, it's not. It's worse for you more than the beef burgers. Everything in moderation. Those are the tips I can give you. I mean I've only been doing this two weeks, and I've only lost 6 lbs, but it's a start. You can always ask questions. I would love to help :)

You are going to need to bite the bullet and go to the supermarket. You can do a combo of eating out and bringing your food. There' lot's of healthy choices you can get at the chains. You can buy some fresh fruit, yogurt, lite bread, etc to make sandwiches. You can get hummus and pita, yogurt and fruit, etc. There's tons of options for people who don't like to cook much. Just make sure to get in natural foods like fruits and veggies (you can get them cut up already). It takes a little planning, but once you get the hang of it, it isn't that big a deal. You are just going to have to push yourself with the procrastination. It all comes down to habit. Slowly change your habits. Start bringing lunch 2x a week. You will get to the point where you are so used to it, it isn't a big deal anymore and going out will be a treat. Good luck!

Okay, I'm 26, but I act alot older, not in the "I'm mature" way, but as in the "I don't like to do anything" way. I started this job in September, and it's 5 minutes from my house. I don't like crowds of people, and although there is a supermarket in my town, I hate going to it, because it's so crowded at night when everyone gets home from work, and the weekends, ugh. It's panic attack inducing. I know that I have to get my coffee in the morning though, there is just something so much better about Dunkin' Donuts coffee. I'm not quite sure what it is. I will go to the supermarket this weekend. It has to be done. I'll bring lunch twice a week, for me. Plus, that'll give me more time to walk at lunch, when I don't have to wait in the drive-thru. It's a win-win :) I know I'm going to have
